 Jiangsu Normal University has been authorized to run the Master of Marketing Management Program since 2011 and the first enrollment was in 2012. By now, a strong teaching and research team has been built up, among whom are 7 professors and 18 associate professors. 16 of those are now supervising either doctor degree candidates or master degree candidates. Up to now, the team has already demonstrated academic excellence: 1) hosting 9 National Social Science Fund Projects, 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and numerous others granted by the Ministry of Education, Jiangsu provincial government and various associations; 2) published over 200 papers nationally and internationally; 3) issued 8 books; 4) won 6 awards from the provincial government for academic achievements.

The program is aimed at bringing up personnel specialized in marketing management. The graduates will be able to do market analysis and administration in businesses, government organizations or non-profit institutions; to do teaching and researching work in research centers or educational bodies; or to pursue further study as a doctorate candidate in Economy.

The students are to lay a solid foundation in economics, management, and quantitative analysis, master the skills in computer operations and be proficient in Chinese so as to be able to carry out theoretical or applied research in international marketing, to hold management positions in companies, or to provide consultancy in such areas.
