Kewen College is an independent college of JSUN which is approved by Ministry of Education. The college is located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province，a city with a long history and convenient transportation, known as “thoroughfare to five provinces” . The beautiful scenery of the campus, the elegant environment, the well-equipped facilities and the profound campus culture enable it a wonderful place to study.
At present, the college owns two campuses : Quanshan Campus and Jiawang Campus, totally covering over 530,000 square meters. While depending on the high-quality education recourses of JSNU, the college keeps increasing inputon improving school’s conditions. Now, we have 1807sets of teaching computers, 29 computer rooms, 220 multi-media classrooms, 37 professional laboratories and 78 off-campus internship bases. Besides, our Activity Center, Sports field and Accommodations provide ideal environment for students’ after school life.
We offer 43 undergraduate programs, covering literature, law, science, engineering, administration, education and art. All of these programs could meet students’ demands and offer them a bright future for employment.
The structure of our faculty and staff is reasonable and sound. Above 73% of our teachers have master degrees, guaranteeing educational quality. At the same time, in order to meet the demands of training technical talents, we invite experts from companies to be our part-time teachers.
In terms of exchange and cooperation, we keep expanding our cooperative fields. Now, we have signed up contracts with FOM University of Applied Sciences, Deakin University and other international universities on the aspect of teacher training and students’ exchange. Cooperative relations have been established with San Francisco State University, University of Toronto and other 30 famous international universities. Moreover, we successfully introduced internship project from ORFF Group Company, making more spacious place for students’ development.
Totally, we have 10 departments and over 9,200 full-time students. Since our establishment, we keep strengthening our characteristics, improving talent cultivation quality from comprehensively. Recently, students have actively taken part in all technological and cultural contests. Over 200 national prizes and 400 provincial prizes have been achieved by our students. Each year, nearly 200 graduates are enrolled for further study, some are even in the first-class university, such as Peking University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University. Our graduates are welcome by employers. Excellent alumni appear one after another in all walks of society. The employment rate reaches over 97%, going beyond similar colleges in Jiangsu province.
